So how do Weddings work?

Your first thought will be to find the perfect wedding venue. Then you will be in full wedding mode-flowers, music, invitations, and your celebrant!

Once I receive your enquiry, I’ll call you for an initial no-obligation chat. If you like what you hear, let’s meet for coffee and discuss your plans so far and your initial thoughts for your day.

If you decide to use my services that’s fantastic. If you decide that I’m not for you then I won’t take it personally! We need to fit!

So, what’s next?

A £50 non-refundable booking is payable to reserve your date when you return your booking form contract of agreement. I commit to only one ceremony per day-so I’m all yours! There is no time limit on the length of your ceremony – it’s totally tailor-made for you.

About three months before the wedding. We will discuss your ceremony in greater detail -such as any rituals, cultural requirements, religious element involvement of any family members, and all those little details which will make your ceremony unique to you. We will work through my bespoke questionnaire which will help me get to know you better and your hopes for your ceremony. If you need me to work with your venue, no problem. At that point you will pay a first draft fee.

Your personal ceremony will then be written individually for you.

I can help you find the perfect poem or reading.
We can talk about incorporating music.

Don’t like to talk in public? No worries. I can talk for two…or three!
I will draft and redraft if necessary-until you’re happy. As long as we agree the final draft 28 days before the big day when the final balance payment is due.

I will be there to support you all the way, always happy to chat. Let’s face it…it’s so exciting…I just love my job.

Then…it’s the BIG day

I will be there by your side and ready to make sure that everything ceremony related goes smoothly. I will deliver your unique Ceremony professionally – with great solemnity if required, but possibly a little humour. I’ll be there to take away the stress and to make sure that you enjoy YOUR Ceremony.

My parting gift to you will be a beautiful copy of your Ceremony script and a formal “Certificate” as a keepsake of your day.
